Many are caught up in the ignorance because they trust the people who
taught them. Many are just plain afraid to have their theological boat
rocked at all, so they don't think about things that would trouble them if
they did. I guess that is a good way to say "ignorance is bliss".
Well, for me, ignorance was anything but bliss. I was miserable thinking
anyone would burn forever in Hell and I can't see for the life of me, how
anyone would not be. It's just beyond my ability to comprehend.
For those of you who may be still "scared of Hell" and have trouble with
God creating such a place, I just don't believe He did!! Have you ever been
to a funeral of someone who didn't attend church or who was thought of as
a renegade sort? According to the poor minister who does their funeral,
the person always was said to have expressed faith in Christ to someone,
somewhere, at some time in his life. And, no wonder! Could you imagine a
minister standing before a sad, grieving, family, telling them they will
never see their loved one again because he is burning in Hell and will be
forever?
Well, don't get me started...just look at the facts.
